Thing #3... the future blogger in me.

If I am teaching any grade between third and sixth, I'd use blogs to help myself share ideas of projects in the classroom. I'd get the children involved into different things during the school year depending on seasons, holidays, and other things like that. Trial and error would be a big part of this, but it would be a great way to document my hypothesis for how the projects would happen, the end results, and any hang ups along the way. I could post how the results varied or complied with my hypothesis. It could also be very helpful for making decisions to retry a project in the past with new ideas and a new classroom of children.

  1. I really like your idea of keeping a blog on projects based on hypotheses and end results. Having an archive of all projects both successful and unsuccessful would be really cool! I'm also pretty interested in being a part of the edublogosphere because there seems to be a lot of unique individuals uniting online to share what works and what does not work in the classroom. I'm interested to see how we will fit into that world when we enter into the education field.
